Over 108 Million! Books in Print

Obtain ISBN

Your self-publishing journey starts with the purchase of a single ISBN. The ISBN identifies you as the publisher. Do not be fooled by Vanity Presses or others who lead you to believe you can use one of theirs. ISBNs are available as singles, 10's, 100's or 1000 numbers at a time. Each format of your book requires a different ISBN... IE: Paperback and Hardcover equals two ISBNs needed. EBooks also need their own separate ISBN for each format (.mobi. .epub, .pdf), although Amazon (.mobi) uses their own numbering system and does not require an ISBN as long as you deal directly with Amazon.
